You deserves to be cared for too
Someone to make you a warm meal, take a few things off your hands and listen without rushing you. Someone who notices what needs doing, so you don’t have to hold it all in your head. As your doula, I make space for you to rest, feel heard and receive care and heal into your new version of yourself.
You don’t have to know exactly what you need to deserve support.
Let’s begin with a conversation.
Choosing a doula is personal. You deserve time to ask questions and get a sense of whether you feel comfortable with me before arranging support.
I’m based in South West London and mainly cover South London for home visits. Tell me your postcode and the support you’re considering, and I’ll confirm availability, travel arrangements and the full cost before you book.
Our get-to-know-me call is a chance to talk about what’s happening in your life and what might make things easier. You don’t need to know which package to choose.
You are invited to come along to one of our events, meet the women behind the conversations and get a feel for life at Villa Meraki—we’d love to welcome you.
Online support will be available in the future where wanted and suitable. We can discuss this after an introductory call, considering what would work meaningfully online.
A free 20-minute get-to-know-me call, with no obligation to book.
Pregnancy and Birth Preparation
Perhaps you’ve been reading, attending appointments and hearing everyone’s birth stories, but you still have questions about your own experience. Or perhaps you simply want a quiet space to work out what matters to you.
Our one-to-one sessions give us time to explore your hopes, talk through worries and prepare for birth and the weeks afterwards. You can come alone or bring a partner or chosen support person.
What we can explore together:
• Your birth preferences and questions for your maternity team.
• Understanding birth options and preparing for conversations about your care.
• Breathing, relaxation, movement and comfort techniques.
• How your chosen support person can help.
• Planning for rest, meals and practical support after birth.
You don’t need a finished birth plan or a list of questions. We can start with what’s on your mind.
£70 for a 90-minute private session.
If you would like to dive deeper into the journey of becoming a mother with other women, the 6 month journey into motherhood might be just right for you.
Postnatal Doula Support
You look after your baby. Let someone look after you.
You might be finding your rhythm, or wondering how it can already be lunchtime when you haven’t had breakfast. There may be lovely moments alongside exhaustion, uncertainty and a growing pile of washing.
I come to your home to offer practical and emotional support, shaped around what would help that day. There is no need to tidy, entertain me or pretend you’re managing everything.
A visit might include:
• Preparing something to eat and making sure drinks are within reach.
• Helping with light household tasks, baby laundry or washing up.
• Caring for your baby while you sleep, shower or take a bath.
• Listening as you talk about your birth or how you’re feeling.
• Helping you find further support when you need it.
Some days we might talk. Other days, I’ll quietly get on with things while you rest.
Example price: £35 per hour, with a three-hour minimum visit (£105).
Example package: Four three-hour visits for £400.
Support through Miscarriage
You don’t have to hold everything together.
After a miscarriage, everyday life may carry on around you while you need time to pause. You might want to talk about what happened, have someone quietly beside you or receive practical help without having to explain why you need it.
I offer gentle emotional and practical support, shaped around your experience. There is no expectation to share, feel a particular way or move forward at anyone else’s pace.
Support can include:
• Time to talk and be listened to, without judgement or pressure.
• Quiet company at home.
• Preparing nourishing food and helping with light household tasks.
• Making space for rest.
• Helping you find relevant information and further support.
• If you wish, thinking together about a personal way to acknowledge your experience.
We begin with a conversation about what would feel helpful. You can tell me as much or as little as you want.
£35 per hour, with the visit length and total cost agreed beforehand.
Support through Abortion
Your experience. Your choices. Care without judgement.
You deserve kindness and practical support before, during and after an abortion. You may feel relief, sadness, certainty, uncertainty or several things at once. You may simply want someone to help with the day.
I offer a calm, respectful space where you don’t have to justify your decision or explain your feelings. Together, we can plan the support you would like, alongside the care provided by your abortion service.
Support can include:
• A conversation beforehand about your needs and preferences.
• Helping you prepare questions for your healthcare provider.
• Practical preparation at home, such as organising food and a comfortable place to rest.
• Company during an at-home abortion, where appropriate and agreed in advance.
• Preparing meals and helping with light household tasks afterwards.
• Space to talk about your experience, if and when you want to.
You decide what support looks like. My role is to listen, offer practical help and respect your choices.
Example price: £35 per hour, with the visit length and total cost agreed beforehand.
Nourish and Nurture
Something warm today. Something ready for tomorrow.
Imagine knowing that dinner is being taken care of, without needing to write instructions, stand at the stove or host anyone.
During this visit, I spend around three hours cooking in your home. We agree on the food beforehand, considering what you enjoy, your dietary needs and what would be useful to have in the freezer.
Your visit includes:
• A conversation beforehand to plan the menu.
• A freshly prepared meal.
• A freezer batch for another day.
• Tidying the kitchen after cooking.
While I cook, you can rest, spend time with your baby or enjoy a little space for yourself. This is food prepared in your home, with care for the person who needs feeding, too.
I can run a bath for you or carry your baby whilst you have the pace of mind that you can let go and focus on your recovery.
£120 for a three-hour cooking visit.
Ingredients charged separately, with the budget agreed beforehand.
